A couple of weeks ago on One Tree Hill at the end there was this really great monologe (sort of). I’ve listened to it so many times it just touches a special place in my soul. We all have wishes, hopes and dreams. Often what keeps them from us is our own doubts and fears. Stop doubting, stop fearing and just believe!!
Make a wish and place it in your heart.
Anything you want,
Everything you want.
Do you have it?
Good.
Now believe it can come true.
You never know where the next miracle will come from,
The next smile,
The next wish come true.
But if you believe that it’s right around the corner
And you open your heart and mind to the possibility of it,
To the certainty of it,
You just might get the thing you’re wishing for.
The world is full of magic,
You just have to believe in it.
So make your wish.
Do you have it?
Good.
Now believe in it,
With all your heart.
Jason Castro. I could just fall into his eyes. They’re so pretty, I just don’t know what to do with myself. He’s hot too.
But my love of the night has to be Syesha Mercado. Damn, that girl can sing. I had tears in my eyes. That note at the end!! WOW!! I love that song, and I love the way she sang it. It was impressive. Definitely on par with Whitney.
I also really liked Carly Smithson. I am totally torn between the two of them. I had to vote for her and Syesha a bunch. Definitly my two faves of the night.
I just realized for the last several seasons I always tune out when they get down to about 16 and then tune back in at the top 10ish. Is that weird?
Can you believe they canceled Las Vegas?? I’m so irritated. It wasn’t just over sexed straight men that watched it. We gays loved it too. Well at least I did. How could you not love Josh Duhamel??
Damn he’s hot!! I can’t believe it ended like that. I’m so depressed. Is that sad?
On a lighter note, I saw the premier to Quaterlife and loved it!! It really get’s into the mindset of us twentysomethings. I hope this show stays on for a while. I really like that it has Scott Michael Foster from Greek. He’s really cute and a really good actor. I really like what they’ve done with the quaterlife.com website. The more I troll around the site, the more it seems the show came out of the website which I find to be a really fascinating turn in the current web.
With myspace peaking and the social networking “world” becoming super saturated where is it leading? What’s the next step in the web’s development. I read the other day that Comcast is working on launching DOCSIS 3.0, which is insanely fast, around 150Mbps!! That’s crazy talk!!
There’s a lot of talk about Web 2.0 vs Web 3.0 and what they are and will become. Imagine the possibilities when you can put over 100Mbps into your home. What are the things you’re going to want to do online? More accurately, when will you be offline? Imagine a world where there truly isn’t anywhere you can go to get away from the net.
How do I do that? I start of complaining about NBC cancelling Las Vegas and start babbling about Skynet.
Oh well I’ll sum it up:
Las Vegas is canceled that sucks
Josh Duhamel is really hot
Quaterlife is really cool
Scott Michael Foster is also really hot
Skynet scares me
For those of you who live under a rock Skynet is a fictional example of an artificial intelligence that becomes sentient, and turns on its creators in Terminator.
